After a career on the railroad, Cat and I have sold our home in Atlanta, GA along with all of our possessions that could not go with us on our odyssey. With years of dreaming and planning behind us, we finally found our perfect boat in Oxnard CA. This Catalina 470 met all our needs and we purchased her in February of 2018. After a bottom job and some minor rigging work, I sailed her from the Channel Islands to San Diego in March and we moved aboard full time in May.
